We live in magnificent times of progress and achievement; we live in turbulent times of hate and horror. Between the two our world unulates, never giving us a steady moment, for there is so much to do, so much to balance. Moulding and steering young, impressionable minds in such times is our challenge. It's a challenge we love and live at Scholars Home. Our efforts and energies are directed at giving each and every child who crosses over the threshold every opportunity to think creatively, to express confidently and to become better confidently and to become better at handling the events of life, be they in school, at home or anywhere else. This indeed is the focus of all our programmes and activities. Over the years I have been amazed and delighted to watch our young Scholars surpass themselves in the classroom, the sports arena as well as at the various competitions and contests they participate in.

They say it takes both rain and sunshine to make a rainbow. Our sad moments plunged us into grief when we lost two of our Scholars, Nishant Chauhan and Nikhil Singh at a beach in Goa. It will be a long time before we can come out of it. Our deep and hearfelt condolences to the bereaved families.

The in-house and the Board examination saw our Scholars reach greater heights of achievement with - distinctions in class XII and - in Class X. Congratuations, dear Scholars; we are indeed proud of you. Keep it up.

I would also like to place on record our gratitude and appreciation to our valued parents and friends who make each and every event at Scholars Home meaningful with their presence. Thank you, we love having you with us.

My debt of gratitude to Mr. K.L. Khanna, our Executive Director, and Mr. Arun Khanna, Director Finance & Administration, for their support in all our endeavours. And how can I sign off without saying a big Thanks to my dear staff who stand by me on all occasions and a welcome to all those who have joined us this year.
